Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall [Open/Mature]
Lavender blue hues peered over the backyard, stalking just along the dead wooden fence he became easily used to after so long of living in the neighborhood. Luckily, his claws were still in tact, as the tom had grown apart from his old home when they had decided to declaw him and keep him as a house cat. That, was not however what he wanted, so he escaped in the dark night with one last nuzzle to the little girl that fed him from her window and introduced him to the family originally. He kept his balance steady, watching the leaves blow passed in utter silence. He wondered most of where everything that gone, why it was so quiet, but in those daydreams, his eyes closed shut, resting to himself upon the fencing up high from the grassy grown on either sides. Jupiter slowly took a nap, whipping his tail that hung over the edge happily as he began to dream of himself chasing mice. It was wonderful, he thought, and so he dreamt some more, hoping just soon that he would eventually claim his non-existent prize in satisfaction.

The retired MWD had worked hard in his line of work. He was a drug sniffer, with the best nose in town. But once he reached his retirement, his handlers did not want him. They said he was too crazy, effected by the life of living in a deployed location. He was not to be trusted around smaller creatures or even some people. He was aggressive like a loose cannon. He snarled on a daily basis if anyone did anything towards him. His tail barely ever wagged anymore. It was like he was no longer a dog, just a machine going through the motions. He had escaped from the foster family who offered to take him in once he was no longer allowed to work. He lived on the streets, dodging the Dog Catcher and Police alike. He stole food from local restaurants and rustled through the trash. He made his way from town to town, searching for anything to keep his attention. As he walked alone, he smelled a scent from a neighboring yard, one which intrigued him. He followed it closely and upon approach he barked to the feline high up. "Hello cat."

Jupiter felt relaxed, but just then a large bark sounded his mind and he hissed, arching his back up as his claws injected into the wood to keep him up right. Glaring down at the filthy creature, he meowed in warning, flicking the end of his ash colored tail, "Hello, thing." He commented, looking over all the dirt and grime that embedded in his fur. What a disgusting waste of an animal, he thought. Looking away, he stood and stalked quickly along the fencing, jumping just short onto another backyard fence so he could get to the ground. He watched the shepherd from a close distance, making his way to higher ground and sprinting down towards safety to where he would soon sit peacefully again on the steps of a random house. Cleaning his fur out and wiping at his forehead, he huffed, ignorantly curling his tail around his ankles in the attempt to get away from the dog all together.

Alert eyes watched as the cat moved from his sight. He was not done speaking with the feline and grew increasingly angry with the sudden disappearance of the other. He growled and snapped his jaws in anger as he moved from his position. His nose was hot on the trial, finding his position in another yard. The male looked towards the fence and immediately his mind tossed him back into the combat zone. He released a snarl as the enemy was pressing down on them. Their shots fired left and right of their feet as the moved and his handler held the cover fire. Kilo was quick and soon found he and his handler pent up against a fence. With one command, he was told to scale the fence and make it to attack the enemy. As he scaled the fence, he lunged from it and attacked the rifleman. He saved the life of his handler and his own. For that work, he was awarded a medal of honor. Coming back to reality, his dark eyes spotted the feline fiend. A snarl rippled from his lips as he moved closer to the beast. His tail curled over his spine and his snot pulled back to expose his sharpened teeth. "I was not finished speaking with you whelp."

Boredly, the cat flattened his ears back and blinks, leaning in his seat at how close the mutt had come to his very face, "Egh. You again?" Jupiter disgusted the piece of trash that snarled, rolling his eyes in a scoff before lightly walking into the bushes, "Can't get enough of me huh? Go home, fleebag. A creature like you is better left for the bugs to dine on anyway, and may I suggest a mint or two? They make that for your kind now-a-days, ya know?" Prancing up through the grass, he made his way around to sit on the sidewalk, making the distance between both animals known, but knowing that the dog was too stupid to tell right from wrong. "What?" He tilted his head and chuckled, "Cat gotcha tongue or something, mutt?" Looking at him shortly, the tom playfully whipped his tail behind him as he started to strut down the cemented path, wafting his scent into the canine's nose to tease him, hoping to give himself a worthy run after all as he had been filled with energy after so many naps. A younger cat like him could always need a reason to run through the town, and if the dog wanted just that, then he would do it. He spat a bitter laugh, "Pathetic and worthless is what you are, pet. You might as well walk into a road and wait for someone to hit you. I'm sure your pelt - once it has been properly clean - would make a fine rug for me to rest upon near the fire of someone's living room. I mean, no one can resist my handsome face," Jupiter insisted, waving his tail and posture with pride.

Kilo snarled to the feline. Such hateful words from the small creature. But he could not blame the cat. He was a dog, and it was a feline. They were natural enemies. But as the tail and scent were smeared on his nose, he could not help a feeling which dug itself from the darkest regions of his mind. His eyes were on the feline, watching it walk away. He quickly charged after the cat and wrapped his teeth around the nape of its neck. Lifting it from the ground, he dashed into the dark shrubs and residential forest behind the houses. Once they were free from the sight of man, he dropped the asshole and snarled at him intensely. His paw was pressed tight on the other's back, keeping him pinned to the floor. "Listen feline, the disrespect you show me for no reason, I will not tolerate it. Your tom foolery is ridiculous. Do you wish to be captured by the local authorities?"
